I came across the following on a forum today. Quite an old ‘trading system’ but seems to still be ranked quite hightly on a google search so I was worried that some might actually try trading it. Personally I think the original author was having a laugh went he posted it but I definitely want to make it clear it does not and will not work in the simple form below.

You will get a few nice big runs but the choppy action will take all your profits and then some more.

It is meant to be an always in the market trading system (which is something I would like to explore on this site in more depth at some stage).

Long Entry: MACD Fast Line crossing above the MACD signal line

Long Exit: MACD Fast Line crossing below the MACD signal line

Short Entry: MACD Fast Line crossing below the MACD signal line

Short Exit: MACD Fast Line crossing above the MACD signal line
